Pure ECEG Polyphenol Green Tea Extract: fights liver damage
Pure ECEG (epigallocatechin gallate) extract, the major polyphenol in green, is becoming more and more popular. Green Tea is also becoming more popular since consumers have learnt about more healthy alternative teas. Green Tea consumption has increased by over 20 times in the last 5 years. A new study examined the effect of EGCG on mice with a liver injury. According to the researchers the “Green tea polyphenols can be a useful supplement in the treatment of liver disease and should be considered for liver conditions in which proinflammatory and oxidant stress responses are dominant”
