Curry's Curcumin to fight Alzheimer's disease and aging
Scientists from Italy's University of Catania found that curcumin oil in curry is a chemical trigger that enhances enzyme activity. It has the ability to protect the brain against the progression of neurodegenerative disease.
Curcumin has been found to work wonders on many illnesses. It has antiseptic abilities, can guar against liver damage or can be used as medication to assist the treatment of cancer and Aids.
Studies on rats found that curcumin induces the enzyme hemeoxygenase which fights free radicals that can cause cells to function abnormally and die. The damage to DNA or proteins has been shown to be a major cause of diseases such as Alzheimer's. It may also help in the way we age
