Green Tea diet effect on weight maintenance after body-weight loss

Green Tea (supplements) are advertised to help you loose weight, but what happens after your effort and you have lost some of those pounds? Does your weight stay the same, or are the pounds back faster then you can say 'green tea'.

An interesting question and finally some research to give us the answer.

After loosing the weight and going back to a normal diet the green tea group put on weight almost twice as fast compared to the control group.
The researchers were surprised with these results and wanted to know why this was happening. After looking at the caffeine consumption they found something interesting.

The people with high caffeine consumption put back 39% of their body weight loss, compared to 16% for the low caffeine group.
